The Surly Handlebar Clamp Shims increase the thickness of a smaller diameter handlebar so it can be used with a stem that has a larger clamp size. Surly offers them in two sizes, 22.2 mm to 31.8 mm and 25.4 mm to 31.8 mm.

They are a simple fit solution for riders adapting older or smaller diameter bars to a 31.8 mm stem clamp without replacing the bar or stem.
